Anthony is the Program Manager for the Allentown Economic Development Corporation (AEDC), where he is responsible for the business incubation program at the Bridgeworks Enterprise Center. AEDC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the mission of identifying, encouraging, developing and managing strategic business opportunities for the benefit of Allentown, its citizens and the Lehigh Valley. Its mission is to improve vacant and underutilized properties by assisting site selection manufacturers, business owners and entrepreneurs in obtaining the resources and opportunities they require for success. Anthony is motivated by the words of the Tao Te Ching: "The Master gives himself up to whatever the moment brings. He knows that he is going to die, and he has nothing left to hold on to: no illusions in his mind, no resistances in his body. He doesn't think about his actions; they flow from the core of his being. He holds nothing back from life; therefore, he is ready for death, as a man is ready for sleep after a good day's work." Anthony volunteers his time with Lehigh Valley Tech, Startup Weekend, and has volunteered at Saucon Valley High School with their entrepreneurship classes. Anthony earned a BS in Electronics Management from Southern Illinois University, and an MBA from Lehigh University. His belief and aspiration is for this organization and others like it to be self-sustaining and hopefully self-sufficient. In this regard, he feels HSI will lead by example as well as help other nonprofits achieve those goals.
